Tattoos Kits

My daughter’s friend was asking me what equipment to get when first starting to tattoo. The first advice I gave him – don’t waste your money on the “kits” that a lot of suppliers sell. Price wise – they average about $200 more or less and you usually get the cheapest, poorest quality machines and a lot of fluff that you don’t absolutely need. Like Flash. You can get a decent starting machine for $50.00, some disposable tubes, and basic quality color inks for starters. If you decide to stick with it, then invest in better machines down the road.
In my opinion, the one item worth investing some money in is a good power source. One that will allow you to control the speed. If you buy your supplies individually, you may spend the same amount of money but you will be buying better grade of supplies.
