Dotty The Circus Fat LadyDainty Dotty had an interesting past although not much is written about her.   Famous for her role as the Circus Fat Lady and part of the Ringling Bros circus. Her circus run happened in the 30’s and 40’s.  Dotty also was a female tattoo artist.  She married tattoo artist, Owen Jensen who taught her the art of tattooing. They eventually opened a successful tattoo supply business.  It’s believed she was the largest female tatto artist ever weighing in at around 600 pounds. She passed away on December 12th, 1952 of a heart attack.
