Tattoo For a Friend

I’m not a sports fan  but this sweet, emotional story caught my attention.  To watch a teammate, friend, roommate – drown right in front of your eyes has to be a person’s worse experience.  A horrible memory of an awful day. An experience that can change a person forever.  Oregon’s wide receiver Jeff Maehl was with his teammate Todd Doxey when he drowned after jumping into a strong river current back in 2008. Doxey was Jeff’s roommate and his best friend.  He is still in Maehl’s thoughts as well as his other team mates.  Jeff decided to get a tattoo in memory of his friend.  Maybe it will help ease the awful memory of that day and help to focus on the life his friend led instead. Hopefully it’ll give him some closure.

This is an amazing and selfless gift. because he did this, his friend will be always admerable. I know that having this tattoo will keep the memory of what he was like before he passed in all the good light.
