Alexis Vaatete is a talented artist when it comes to black and gray but is also well known for his color work. His interest began when he was still in high school and started picking up tattoo magazines available at the time. He now has 5 years of tattooing under his belt so by some standards his tattoo career is still in it’s early stages. Although, you wouldn’t determine that by the high quality of his work. He had an intensive 3 year apprenticeship which artist Franco Vescovi. He says that his preference his detail work and taking that has a color intensity and images with illumination.
