Craig Foster is what of those great stories your here – guy turns his life around and finds sweet success. Craig is a black tattoo artist – for some reason that is still a novelty – who went from juvenile delinquent to tattoo shop owner and talented artist. As with most of us, the bad times can be an educational experience. We learn from our mistakes. Learn that we want something different from life. Although Craig had minor violations he eventually ended up with an 18 month sentence for messing up his probation directives. For this long stretch he decided to focus on his artwork and learned how to tattoo while incarcerated. He tattooed with a crude machine made with guitar string, a tape player motor and pens. He also had time to think and decided to turn his life around when he got out. He’s a Dad, a respected shop owner, and an outstanding tattoo artist.
