Learn the Tattoo Craft

by on Apr.19, 2010, under News, Tattoos-Body Art

If learning how to tattoo is a dream of yours and you happen to live in the New York State area, there will soon be  a new option available.   A established beauty school in Williamsville New York called Leon Studio One is currently in the process of board of education approval to conduct tattoo classes as well. Tringali, the owner of Leon Studio One, has laid out an intensive one-month course and is currently waiting on approval from the board of education.  Tringali plans on a class size of 6 students. The class will be taught by Lorenzo Webster, a tattooist of 20 years. Tringali feels that offering up tattoo classes opens the possibility of a tattoo career to more people.  The school is a modern and friendly facility.  This type of learning establishment meets with much skepticism and sometimes even scorn from many artists in the business. One of the local New York shop artists expressed his feelings as such “I don’t know what he’s teaching, but if someone thinks he’s going to get this little certificate and come out a tattoo artist, let alone get a job, they’ve got another think coming,” said “Dead” Ed Walker, owner of American Skin Art in North Tonawanda. Tringali said this may not replace the necessity for an apprenticeship but may offer a head start to people interested in getting started in the tattoo trade.  I don’t think Tringali will have any problem getting this program off to a successful start.  Lisa Fasulo began a New York certified school a couple of years ago which is experiencing success and has recently opened up a second school on the west coast.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance. I must say you have done a fantastic job with this. Also, the blog loads super quick for me on Opera. Exceptional Blog!
