Jess Yen is an award winning artist on both the international and national level. He is well known for his realistic portraits and elaborate and intricate body suits. He is equally famous for his black and grey as much as he is for his color work. 
He is recognized as a master of New School Oriental art style. Jess was raised in Taiwan but is currently living in the U.S. He’s been tattooing for over 16 years and is currently so in demand that he is booking 2 years in advance. He draws from his background in Japanese and Chinese cultures as inspiration for his designs. Jess is unlike most artists as he’s able to offer hand-poked tattooing (Tebori) as well as traditional electric machine tattooing. Jess is the owner of My Tattoo located in southern California and all of the artists working in his shop are able to tattoo with both electric machines as well as using Tebori style .
You can see from this piece he’s gifted at color as well as black and grey. His specializes in realistic portraits and elaborate body suits.
