I’ve never seen or heard of a place like this before. I can imagine that it started with some friends though, wanting to create one shop they could all work in together?

I have never seen a place like this before. I think the concept is awesome! When I was looking at getting my first tattoo I was a little hesitant about going in a real tattoo parlor, even though the people were great, I was still pretty nervous, a place like this is great for people like me! I also think working at a place like that would be very cool, because there are so many different kinds of things going on, all art related in some way.

I opened my first tattoo studio in 1986.
It was a combo Tattoo + Hairstyling + Photography studio.
I had to ditch the styling after less than a year.
I again tried combining them in 1993 by having them as t semi seperate things sharing the same fron lobby.
It worked fine.
Closed that shop in 03 to travel.

I currently am employed as a tattooist at a spa, salon, piercing, retail place.
