When you think of clown tattoos your mind usually visualizes the evil clown figure – demon like features, possibly fangs. At least that’s where my mind travels. Clowns are an extremely popular choice for tattoo body art. This tattoo brings back memories for me – my Mom collected clowns. Not evil scary ones, but more of the Emmett Kelly type like this image with it’s sad and forlorn feel. Another variation of the clown tattoo is the character of the Jester which is reminiscent of Medieval times when they were highly favored by royalty. My father used to collect Emmett Kelly figurines also. After he passed, I got a nice Emmett Kelly tattoo on my leg…in memory of him…I LOVE THE STORY and would love to show my tattoo as well
