Happy Valentines Day

by on Feb.14, 2010, under Tattoos-Body Art

Happy Valentines Day – should land on a Sunday every year.  Give us a chance to spend with your loved one.  Valentines Day also reminds us of the ever popular heart tattoo.  All styles and shapes can be found with the heart shaped symbol.  In the past handful of years, a gruesome and realistic version of the heart has grown in popularity even adorning the female population. I don’t understand the appeal but tastes run in all directions…The majority of the time it is chosen to represent a current and hopefully life long relationship (and if not find a good cover up artist).  Other times it is chosen to remind a person of a broken relationship – a broken heart or a knife through the heart.  Seems like placing that permanently on your body is a sign of a masochist….Another common reasons is as a memorial to a loved one that’s passed on.  Whatever your reason, whatever your choice of designs – the choice of a heart tattoo almost always has a emotional reason behind it.

Interesting. I have never really thought of heart tattoos that way. I think it shows a softness to someone, which is like you said, emotional. I too think people get heart tattoos for loved ones I have seen way too many people get heart tattoos about the person they are married to or with at the time, that is not smart. Things happen and then you’re left with the reminder than it’s over, how depressing! Heart tattoos, in my opinion, are very cliché and not a lot of thought went into them. It’s the easy symbol to show love . . . come up with something more creative. I like what you said though, and I would have to agree.

The exchange of gifts at Valentines is 1 of the most touching rituals still observed the World over. This year, give a gift that carries the appropriate message to loved ones who are separated by miles – a gift they can hold in their hand and look at every night just before they go to sleep; a Valentines gift to bear in mind.I believe in Friendship, I believe that it is so healthy for us. I know that if it was not for my pals I would be in a different place nowadays and not a better place. I also like giving – no I love giving. I believe that when you give you get – and you get even bigger.

Believe it or not, you will find men out there who feel fake flowers are significantly nicer than real ones because they’re cheaper and they last longer. Well, I’ve carried out weeks of searching and couldn’t discover any women who thought the same way. But I did discover plenty who have received this gift inside the past. So guys, no matter how several fake flowers your mother might have had around the house, it’s not OK to purchase them on Valentine’s Day.

Making furnishings do double duty in a small home is essential. Couldn t they do something different in the tower room to make it accommodate a guest in a pinch Or were the designers more concerned with how the staircase would look from the kitchen
