Tattoo SleeveJeff Gogue is a well respected self taught tattoo artist.    His influences include Robert Hernandez, Nikko Hurtado, Shige, Bob Tyrrell, and well known tattoo legend, Joe Capobianco.  He also dabbles in oil painting. He states that his goal is to tattoo  creative, dynamic, refined work. Although this is a sleeve in progress I was impressed with the colors and the coloring.   You can see that this is going to be a beautiful piece even in this stage. continue reading

Kat Von D ConcealerKat Von D recently came out with a new product in her family of makeup products with Sephora. This one is a concealer that will cover up your tattoos.  Job hunting and tattoos are not always the best mix, so this product is a perfect choice for visible tattoos that are difficult to cover up with clothing.  I would love for anyone who has used this product to comment to this post. continue reading

Mummys and Tattoos

Framable Photography

by on Jul.07, 2008, under Art, Tattoos-Body Art

Woman with TattoosI love the antique flavor this photograph has. The artist uses digital means – Photoshop to be exact to work with antique photos. He has nice composition and coloring technique. Retains the vintage look but is giving more than the more standard more drab colors of old photography.
