Gang Tattoos and Meaning

In doing research for my Tattoo Information Site – on Gang Related Tattoos - I found a site that has a database of over 700 Chicago tattoo pictures with current plans to expand to gangs all over the country. For some reason, when our world is completely remote from the world of bikers, gangs and prisons, we still have a fascination and curiosity regarding the topic. We get a glimpse through tv shows and movies but reading about this once mysterious world is now easy with the internet. (continue reading…)

This is an entertaining piece of Photoshop work and if you click on the title of this post you can vote for the creator, Sassydeb, who has put it out for comments on Freaking News. I don’t know what is funnier, Paris covered with tattoos or the extra meat on her thighs. I like this one better than the one of Hillary Clinton with tattoos – but that one is not bad either. And it seems more “out there”.

Tattoo Removal

As you can guess, this area will probably be advancing as the years go on considering the popularity of tattoos. There are the creams and the expensive, painful, laser treatments that I know people have used. They are happy with the end result, but it’s more expensive than getting a tattoo and they say it has a similar feeling to having a rubber band snapped continuously on your skin – sounds damn painful to me. White Ink

Lighter inks – especially white ink – is usually hard to “get in” the skin and use for highlighting. You have to make sure it’s in solid, possibly making more than 1 pass. White ink is subtle – in almost all cases but the color of the skin can make a difference – with surprisingly-artists are saying that pale skinned customers actually display these tattoos better.
