Miniature Tat

I thought this was a great choice for a miniature ear tattoo. Using the shape of the ear to enhance the shape of the skull. Very detailed. I also like the shading that was added to accent the concave of the ear itself. Previously, I had only seen feminine ear tats – flowers, tribal stuff. I think ear body art will become more popular in the future. It’s discreet and if you have long enough hair, can be covered if you prefer that in some social situations.

Here’s a way to make the most of losing your hair. Be creative. Instead doing the old comb over, recreate your look with a funky, funny tattoo. I guess I shouldn’t assume this guy is losing his hair, maybe he shaved the rest off just to have some fun. And if he gets tired of the look, grow it back.

I grabbed this photo from a blog of a digital artist who’s focus is animals and also digital scrapbooking. I was nicely surprised to find she also included one of my favorite subjects – skulls. I love this particular picture the butterfly, skull combination. She is very creative and I recently have tried to teach myself to us Elements to come up with some interesting digital creations and it’s not as easy as it looks. I hope I can come up with something this appealing someday.
