The area I live in has a problem with meth addicts and alcohol related crimes.  This story is a typical one for the week.

Police were called to investigate a small boy wondering a local neighborhood in the middle of the night, in the rain. The boy was six years old and autistic and was unable to communicate with the police.   People in the area were able to help the cops locate the correct apartment.  The grandfather, who was intoxicated, answered the door but denied responsibility.  They then found a woman walking down the street, who was also – intoxicated, who claimed to be his stepmother.  continue reading
