Keeping up with the theme of yesterdays post – ironically – I just found an article about the work he’s done with Gibson and Les Paul who worked with Garver to create a unique and custom guitar design. This is a beautiful example of Garver’s Asian influence. The guitar was on display at various locations across the country and then used to raise funds for “Rock the Vote”.
Tattoo artists are featuring their art in other avenues besides the skin. At most tattoo conventions, there will also be an art competition by the artist and people attending the convention. continue reading
I don’t play guitar but for some reason when people use the shape of a guitar in their works of art I go gaga. I think this would look stunning hanging on a wall. The artist is Doug Rowell and you will not find anything that comes close to this man’s wooden sculpture. continue reading
