I knew that tattoos go a long way back in different cultures but this was news to me. A couple of years ago, a Peruvian 1500 year old mummy of a heavily tattooed young woman was discovered inside a mud-brick pyramid. Visit the National Geographic page to read the entire story.

This is so cute – and a bonding session between Dad and daughter. it happened in Canada and under the guidance of a professional artist, this 5 year old colored in her Dad’s tattoo. In addition to her Dad having a permanent treasure from his little girl, the sweetie helped design the bee image he was getting.
This store has some fantastic art – and a strange and eclectic choice of subject matter – bowling pins, Tattoo Flash, and painted guitars. Beautiful stuff.
