A while back I did a post about a project he was working on called Tattoos & Tentacles. The project is now completed!! and he’s selling posters as well as a coffee table book full of images of beautiful women posing with “clinging” octopi. It’s gross and yet beautiful at the same time. The sliminess just creeps me out. It would make a nice XMAS present for any tattoo fans on your list. The artwork and book are for sale on his site.
Some weeks it’s hard to find new and fresh topics to blog about – I think of it as Blogger’s block and then there are the weeks where you find a gem like this and you can’t wait to get that post written. The artist then uses various scratching tools to uncover the white beneath to produce the desired picture and affect they are striving for. continue reading
Many tattoo fans find adding a name or some type of statement or proclamation to their bodies a popular choice. Words can inspire and be used as a constant reminder of a time or belief.
