I recently became a member of PETA. I felt I had to do more than yap about animal abuse and how much it upset me. They make some amazing strides in keeping businesses and people accountable for how animals are treated. But the task seems gigantic so any help individuals can offer helps the cause. Recently, PETA has had impressive campaigns to promote the ethical treatment of animals including “Ink No Mink”. Celebrities are stripping out of their clothes and being tastefully photographed with a couple of accessories and in all their tattoo glory. A great idea for a campaign. A win win. Everyone loves tattoos and celebrities. Naked celebrities with tattoos. Whoever thought up the campaign should get a promotion! Visit their ad page to see more. And if you have a heart, make a donation or, better yet, join PETA and support their work. If you can’t afford to do that, write a letter. Voice your objection to some of the cruelty we subject animals to.

Ouija Boards

Ouija boards came into existence as a parlor game in the mid-1800′s, when spiritism and channeling were at the height of fashion.I was looking for Halloween related images and Halloween tattoos but this was the first item I found that struck my fancy. It brought back wonderful memories of being completely mystified and amazed at the experimentation we did as kids. Lots of fun with a little side of amazement. In doing some searching around, I found people proclaiming experimentation with the board is like “dealing with the devil”.

Beautiful Tattooed Women

This photo is supposed to be the tattooed ladies of the Sacred Rose Tattoo shop in San Francisco. It almost looks like a touched up photo. I found it on a Google images search but not on their site. It’s a tattoo shop located in Berkley CA. Sacred Rose is the home of award winning tattoo artists, many of them have professional art degrees and formal training in the fine arts.

Digital Tattoo Dragon

This digital image has some of my favorite visual characteristics. Dragons are one of my favorite tattoo choices and the way the artist rendered the dragon coming to life from the tattoo state is so cool. I give a lot of credit to people that can produce these creative images with software like Photoshop. Way to freaking complex for me. Tried it and just couldn’t wrap my head around it. Love this piece and I have a great respect for people with the patience to master this software.

Awsome Tattoo

There is a fine line between having confidence and being full of yourself and I believe this is crossing the line into egotistical. I would think this would be a big turn off to your romantic interests as well. Maybe it’s tattooed for a laugh. I wouldn’t waste such a prime territory of skin with this particular phrase.

Scriptures

This person has some type of religious scripture tattooed on her back and I believe this is one of the most extreme,longest bit of text I’ve seen in ink. I met a young woman who has a religious cross tat and a few years later changed her faith and was looking to remove it. Fortunately, it wasn’t a huge tat so possible. This is a whole different story.
