Building sandcastles has come a long way and competitions are held all over the world with professinal companies participating. Friends of mine visit an annual competition in Maine every year and rave about the beautiful and creative sculptures built on the beach. But there are events held all over, some a better caliber than others. Visit the site and you can check out pictures of competitors in a annual world competition held in British Columbia.
