Realism artist, Ron Mueck, is a master of capturing the texture of human skin as well as natural realistic shaped humans. He is originally from Australia but currently working in the U.K. His career began working on kids TV shows on children’s television shows and then turned to film work doing special effects. He worked on the 1986 David Bowie movie, the Labyrinth for one. In time, he turned to sculpture. His figures are now displayed in shows in highly respected galleries.
